Floral Wreath

I am loving how this layout turned out!! I played along with The Pink and Paper shop monthly challenge to create a fussy cut floral wreath!

Cut my florals from a paper in the Echo Park Once upon a Time collection, and also a paper in my scrap bin from the Night Night collection by Pebbles.

Used some Pink Paislee ephemera, popped up some of my fussy cut flowers onto fun foam and tucked in some thread for extra texture.

I will definitely be doing something like this again soon! Hope you enjoy

Little Princess

I can’t remember the last time I scrapped a photo from my childhood but it is definitely something I will do more often.

I wanted a “cleaner” look for this layout, so I went with a white on white look. Lots of layering around my photo and I attempted to do a little stamping, something I need to practice!

I belong to the Rediscover your Stash group over on Facebook and this month we are focusing on stamping. One of my favourite scrappers Victoria Marie is hosting a challenge and the prize is a spot in her awesome “Stamping Like a Boss” class.

I hope you enjoy! Have a great day everyone.

Precious Pinks!

Playing along with the exclusive August sketch from our Secret scrap party for The Secret not Secret Kit Club I created this layout using some kit goodies, stash and papers/ephemera from Prima Marketing Heaven Sent collection

Scrapping with pink is so easy for me! It’s my favourite colour and I seem to always gravitate to pink tones.

I created 2 clusters around my photo and a mini one at the bottom left of the page. Going for a bit of a diagonal look down the page.

It’s hard to tell in the photos but there is so much lovely dimension on this page using lots of fun foam.

Far Out…

I adore the look of simple and elegant layouts but I must admit my style tends to be quite the opposite usually. This layout is documenting just a fun adventure hike I took a few years ago with my boy Winston. It was the perfect way to spend a cloudy Saturday and it was my first time hiking alone, something that usually would terrify me.

I used my April Secret not Secret Kit and created a busy layout using some papers from Websters Pages. I am always happy when I am able to use multiple photos on a layout! Sometimes it takes more than one to tell your story. Also added some random bits of ephemera from my stash, trying to use up my supplies so I won’t feel guilty buying new stuff!

Relax and Blog

Hey! Welcome to my very first blog post! I am excited to share this fun layout I created during our Secret scrap party for The Secret not Secret Kit Club. If you haven’t heard about it check out the link Khristina is the sweetest and amazing at curating personalized beautiful kits for members each month.

My kit included the fun patterns and embellies from the Crate Paper Wild Heart collection. I started by washing out 3 sections where my tags would go using white gesso, and then added different colours of Heidi Shine which I just sprayed directly onto the gesso and then added some splatter.

Next came layering up each tag with papers from the 6×8 paper pad, lots of fun foam to add dimension and then used some stickers and ephemera to decorate. I could of hoarded that leaf trim forever, but decided to use a sparing amount for some added texture.

So happy with the way it turned out! My inspiration came from Crafty Meggy who I got to scraplift for this particular challenge!
